The CPP 62/65/12 or 62/65/14 is the perfect replacement turbo for towing. We recommend the 12cm Housings for 94-98 trucks for fastest spoolup and great driveability, but also great for 94-02 trucks with automatic transmissions. The benefit of the 14cm over the 12cm exhaust housing is lower Exhaust Gas Temperatures but it will be slower to spool in daily driving situations (About 50-100rpm slower spoolup). The wategate is set at 40psi to prevent head gasket failure. The CPP 62/65 compliments moderate fueling upgrades and can support 300 - 550hp. All CPP turbochargers are very close to being a drop in replacement on 94-02 Trucks,however, a HX40 downpipe is required for installation.
