Because the cone-shaped screen is placed outward against the flow of the water-methanol mix, it deflects the debris that would clog or damage components of the methanol injection kit. By forcing the debris to the gasket area, the result is a filter that will remain naturally clog free. Also, by capturing and getting rid of the debris, the screen will help extend the life of your system components.

Our standard bulk head filters are made of T304 stainless steel wire cloth and are approximately 120 microns. In addition, the fittings are very simple to install from the outside of any tank. Drill a 7/8" hole in a flat location, away from any seams in the tank, and simply slide it through and hand tighten. No tools are needed to install. Slide the brass fitting into tubing, then insert it into the tank tap. The outside has a built in 1/4" push to connect.
